About Us!

     Women’s Service Organization was founded at Texas Tech University in 1959 by a charter of 17 young women. These founding sisters created WSO as an organization where girls could form lasting friendships, serve the Lubbock community in more ways than one, and promote equality among themselves. Since then, many other young women have joined and made WSO one of the best student organizations on the Texas Tech campus.

 

 

Women’s Service Organization's purpose is not only to assemble young ladies of Texas Tech University in sisterhood and equality but also to serve our campus and community through different service projects and campus events.
